My background is on my mother's side, Zuni, Akimel 
O'odham and Yoeme; on my Dad's side Dine. 
I am a relative-by choice to the Black Bull family of 
Crow Creek, SD. I have many other relatives-by-choice. 
too many to list here. Like you, I am not enrolled in any 
tribal rolls, by choice. My grandfather was very much against 
the idea of the government being in charge of who's an Indian 
through blood quantum. He predicted that the day would come when 
the government would declare us extinct that way. So to honor 
his request to our family, I've chosen to remain "free" 
of enrollment. I do beadwork and featherwork myself and 
I tan hides for my beadwork. I am considering a purchase 
but I will write to you from my own email account.

Hello,   I just came to this site today and I must say 
the feather work is breath taking. I dance with the 
group called "Brule'" during the Christmas 
Concert Tour each year.  This will be my sixth year with them.
