Why are prices higher than the last time I inquired? My work is always improving, and I continuously search for better quality supplies. Prices are subject to change at any time. New prices for 2010 compensate me for standard cost-of-living increases including higher costs of supplies. Back to Top
Do you ship to Canada and at what price?Yes, I frequently ship to Canada. All Canadian orders and purchases will ship via USPS Registered Mail for a flat fee of $22 USD. Here's how that fee breaks down: $11.80 = registered mail fee Why registered mail? Registered Mail parcels are placed under tight security from the point of mailing to the point of delivery to help speed delivery and prevent opening or rifling. Registered mail also includes insurance against loss or damage and verification of the date and time of delivery and the delivery attempts. IMPORTANT!: If you have an alternate US mailing address or US PO box, I will gladly mail your purchase there for my standard US fee. Back to Top

What is Paypal and why don't you accept foreign money orders?Paypal is an internet service that allows you to pay me by credit card or bank account transfer. You do not need to be a Paypal member to pay me; I can send you a link for payment via email. Paypal is the most secure method of payment for all customers and costs the customer nothing to use. I do not accept money orders or personal checks from foreign countries due to restrictions imposed by my bank. I may consider accepting Western Union from Canada if needed. Any fees charged by W.U. are the responsibility of the customer. W.U. payments are-non-refundable. Back to Top
Do you take orders for beadwork or sequinwork? No, making legal plumes (and being a stay-at-home mom) is a full-time business. I may occasionally sell beaded or sequined sets that I make in my spare time; check my Regalia For Sale page. Back to Top
Do you wholesale? No. Each item is individually crafted, and I do not usually have any backstock to sell in bulk to retailers. Nor do I sell featherworking or beadworking supplies. Back to Top
Do you offer any discounts? No. Back to Top
How do I wear my new plumes?Click here for an informative page about wearing ladies' plumes and grass dancer antennae. Back to Top
Do you have a waiting list and how long will my order take to complete?PLUMES: New plumes orders generally have a waiting period of 6 weeks which begins when I receive your payment in full. Please pre-pay your plumes order IN FULL to reserve your place in line. CUSTOM FANS: I
average a 6 month wait for custom peyote fans. I will be booking only TWO fans per
month, so if you want to get in line, please be prepared to pay your 50% deposit
promptly. Please note: waiting list estimates include time for completing all orders paid in front of yours!--walela49 Back to Top
Will you use my real eagle feathers for my order? For US customers: Fans: Yes, you can provide your own eagle feathers for me to use in making a fan. Prices are listed on my "Order Peyote Fans" page. A copy of your permit is required when mailing real eagle feathers. The permit and any unused feathers will be returned. I do not sell real eagle feathers. Charges for reworking existing eagle plumes and feathers are for labor and supplies only. Why do I require a copy of your repository permit? Mailing your permit with your genuine feathers is for your protection. Your permit was mailed to you when you received your eagle from the National Eagle Repository in Denver, CO. and is the only document that will prove that you obtained eagle parts legally. Should the package be opened enroute, the feathers will not be confiscated when accompanied by your permit. Postage for feathers sent to the artist is the responsibility of the customer. Delivery confirmation and insurance on your feathers is strongly recommended as the artist is not responsible for your property until the feathers reach my place of business. For Canadian customers: NEW! See
my discussion on eagle feather laws here.

list. I do not send frequent emails, but I do try to send occasional
newsletters or announcements.
