Plumes by walela49
What are legal plumes? "Legal plumes" is my term for imitation eagle plumes or the fluffy undertail feathers commonly worn by many styles of powwow dancers. My handcrafted plumes are 100% legal (see this) for anyone to own, buy, sell, mail, and trade regardless of Native American tribal enrollment. My plumes are painstakingly and individually hand crafted to look just like genuine eagle plumes. Each plume is constructed of domestic, farm-raised turkey feathers of various breeds that do not fall under federal regulations such as the Migratory Bird Treaty Act of 1918 or Bald Eagle Protection Act.
Why buy legal plumes? The majority of my customers are Native Americans in the US and Canada. Frequently, my plumes are purchased for dancers who have not yet earned genuine feathers. Also, legal plumes make excellent gifts as they require no associated permits or documents. Additionally, my legal plumes can pass customs into Canada with little delay as passage of domestic turkey feathers is not restricted. Finally, these plumes look so real that they make excellent substitutes for pow wow dancers awaiting delivery of their permitted eagle from the National Eagle Repository in Denver, CO. (See this.)
Money back guarantee: I pride myself on the quality of my craftsmanship and customer service, and I hope that you will love your legal plumes. If you are dissatisfied with your purchase for any reason, please return the plumes to me, and upon receipt, I will refund your purchase price. I reserve the right to re-sell custom plumes that are returned. Returns must be received by me within 30 days of original shipping date. w49 Abenakis, Accochannock, Alabama Coushatta, Abanki, Alaska Natives, Apache, Arapaho, Arikara, Assiniboine Sioux, Blackfeet, Caddo, Carrier, Catawba, Cayuga, Cheyenne, Chickasaw, Chicora, Chilcotin, Chippewa, Chippewa Cree, Chitimacha, Choctaw, Cherokee, Chumash, Coharie, Comanche, Costanoan, Cowlitz, Cree, Creek, Crow, Dakota, Delaware, Dine, Dineh, Dene, Edisto, Essellen, Goshute, Gros Venture, Gwitch'In, Haida, Haliwa-Saponi, Hidatsa, Ho Chunk, Hohokam, Hopi, Houma, Hupa, Huron, Illinois, Innu, Inuit, Inupiaq, Iowa, Iroquois, Kalispel, Kaw, Kiowa, Klallam, Klamath, Kootenai, Lakota, Lumbee, Maidu, Makah, Mandan, Mashantuckets,Mattaponi, Meherrin, Menominee , Metis, Miami, Mingo, Miwok, Mohawk, Mohegan, Monacan, Montaucketts, Munsee Delaware , Nansemond, Navaho, Navajo, Nez Perce, Nisga'a, Nootka, Ohlone, Ojibwe, Omaha, Oneida, Onondaga, Osage , Ottawa, Paiute, Pamunkey, Pawnee, Peoria , Pequot, Pima, Potawatomi, Powhatan, Pueblo, Quapaw, Quinault, Ramapough, Sac and Fox , Salish, Saponi, Secwepemc, Seminole, Seneca, Shawnee, Shinnecock, Shoshone, Shuswap, Siletz, Sioux, Spokane, Steilacoom, Squamish, Susquehanna Tlingit, Tonkawa, Tsilhqot'In, Tuscarora, Umatilla, Umpqua, Ute, Wabanaki, Waccamaw-Sioun, Wampanoag, Warm Springs Indians, Washoe, Wea, Wendat, Wichita, Wiyot, Wyandot |
